Step into the chamber ready for judgement
At the hands of the twelve that determine your fate
Don't lie to the jury
Don't try to find the answer entwined in the boiler
Cooking all your stories served cold like revenge
The knife cuts so much deeper
Don't lie to the jury
Don't lie to the jury
Haven't you heard the legend of old that when you have wronged a man with your word
With the wind your lies will grow, out of control
They changed you
They hurt you
Swooping like crows they come for your eyes
You cannot see now
You cannot see through the two-sided glass
They changed you
They hurt you
We'll find them
We'll judge them
Into the pit of deception where it all began
Smoke and mirrors will cloud up your faulty judgement
Forcing you into a corner back against the wall
No telling where the attack is going to come from
Swooping like crows they come for your eyes
You cannot see through the two-sided glass
The mask you wear covers your lie
Your lies they grow out of control
Don't lie to the jury
Cooking all your stories served cold like revenge
The knife cuts so much deeper

Pity that I could not find the deluxe edition with LoG's Laid to Rest. Nevertheless I wanted to add Elegy to my BC collection. It's unique as it is a delightful mix of symphony and deathcore. The vocals are just the perfect "5th element" that allows both styles to intertwine perfectly. Ben Duerr is the perfect vocalist for this role. The Elegy trilogy at the end is just the apotheose of death-gasm, it's a good trip down to memory lane as I've seen S.O.I. live last year! sachavonkarl74
